Hi, welcome to the 1st week of android app suggestions. It's never been easy to find a cool app that could match your expectations on PlayStore. As there are many of them on PlayStore even with the tags like editor's choice, featured, top free and top paid. It's difficult to find an app that would be the best among the group of similar apps.
Here I am going to showcase a few of my choices for a few requirements. If you didn't find what you want, feel free to comment down what you need... I try my best to find the best relevant app for your expectation.
Let's check them out. Do you mind app permissions ? Do you know how unnecessary app permissions could steal your data ? What would be the requirement for a calender app in using your location or contacts permissions. Or else in some cases you may need that permissions for a temporary purpose. What would you do in that case. Hmm... There is an app called Bouncer on Google play that could help you.
It's an app that helps you keep your privacy by allowing the app permissions temporarily. Bouncer uses accessibility permission to temporarily turn the app permissions on and then off when you don't need it any more. But, wait why do i trust bouncer ? Yes bouncer takes the accessibility permission but doesn't ask for any other permissions that includes your personal or app data. It just gets access to turn on and off the app permissions. It also doesn't has any ads and no internet permissions, hence we can assure that app doesn't connect to any online server to steal your data.
Having it clear, this app is really cool. I tryed it personally and it works awesome and isn't that heavy on my battery.
It's developed by a team of ex-apple employees. This app can be used to add a second display to your android phone or tablet. The awesome thing about this app is it's compatibility and performance. It can be paired to MACs with 10.14 later, also supports chromebook and almost all PCs that run on windows.
I personally like it's easy connect feature as the desktop application auto detects the phone. It would be really helpful while editing videos on your mobile device or giving a simple presentation that you wanted to do on mobile. It's lite and doesn't drain much battery. Hope you find it helpful.
Ohh ! All the above are paid apps ! Aren't there any cool free apps on play ? Yes, there are a few.
It's an app that helps you record the speech in the meetings and take notes in realtime. These notes are easily shareable to your friends and has a search feature so you could find a particular topic that you want. You can manually edit, highlights and share summary with your co employees and friends. Works only for English speech.
I tryed recording my lectures at my university, I really like it's technology that punctuates, capitalise and breaks paragraphs. I was also able to export the notes in pdf or text format and share to my class mates and friends. Although it caught some errors which I could easy correct after the session, but it's still a really cool app.
Musixmatch is the world’s largest collection of song lyrics used by millions of people to get instant synchronised lyrics for Youtube, Spotify, Pandora and more.
You can also use it to get song translations on the go. It shows a popup that shows of lyrics of the song you're listening to. You can also customise the popup design and animation.
Personally, I really liked it's premium version as it includes the party mode which is awesome to look at and its transparent popup design is more useful when listening to music on YouTube.

I personally feel it's the best option compared to other meditation apps on PlayStore. It's cool and has quite a lot sessions for free. That's would help you relax and get some headspace.
That's all for this week hope you found some app that meets your requirements. Stay tuned for the next one.
