Every OS has a seemingly endless list of pros and cons. So, who’s right?
If you’re looking for a smartphone for your business and/or an individual, there's a list of things that you should keep an eye on.
Either platforms has a wide range of features that make them worth having, so that deciding between one or the other can be overwhelming.
In order to make the right decision, you have to know what you’re actually looking for.
Let's start with the design.
Android vs IOS : Design
IOS has a really good looking UI and animations that Android never had untill today. IOS has an easy management compared to Android as it has in deep customisation and settings that a normal user don't actually use.
IOS is easy to navigate as the UI is managed for the easy and fast usage. Android is a little tricky when it come to navigating between preferences and apps.
In my opinion android need to improve it's UI leaving IOS at the upper hand until today. iOS established its mark in simplicity and easy to begin with UI.
Android vs IOS : Hardware
iPhone is a lot popular than android but Apple keeps on Innovating as Android is freaking fast in cutting edge technologies. Android OS gets awesome features that helps users to experience cool latest features that iphone has.
Mostly, Android phone supports micro sd card or so called external storage whereas iPhone users live on the phones internal storage. Android phones are cheaper compared to iphone as apple puts lots of R and D price into the buyers pocket.
Android phone are easily available and could be bought comfortably whereas iPhones are secured but not that fast in moulding up for newer technologies.
Android vs IOS : Security
If you're a business, then security would be in the first place. As you manage your payments and such personal stuff in a mobile phone security would be the major concern.
When it comes to security IOS has it's upper hand compared to Google's Android. The reason might be the Android's opensource it would be easy to find the loopholes in it until and unless you keep the latest version of Android.
Problem arises here as manufacturers like Samsung, oneplus etc... Make their own versions of Android OS. It's hard for Google to update all of it's handsets if any bugs or vulnerabilities found. As iPhone can update all of it's handsets anytime without any limitations it would be more secured.
Android vs IOS : Which would you choose ?
If you are running a business and want to manage the finance and personal information then iPhone would be the best choice as it's secured and easy to use UI.
But If you are an individual trying to use your smartphone for almost every task on your life then Android OS or an Android Smartphone would be the best choice for you. Due to it's depth customisations and features it could be the awesome option for an individual.
Additionally in android unlike IOS you can turn your phone in the way you want it to be. Add your own luncher, widgets, app icons, animations & transitions and if you're a developer you can also built your own Android yourself so that no one could track you're personal information.
Hope this article helped you choose the best OS for yourself.
